Our team is currently partnering with several growing companies throughout the Tucson area that are seeking experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialists to join their accounting teams. These opportunities are ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting daily accounting operations.
We are actively interviewing candidates with experience in invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and general accounting support for immediate and upcoming openings with reputable local employers.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments
Prepare and send customer invoices while monitoring outstanding balances
Post payments, credit memos, and journal entries into accounting systems
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing inquiries
Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting support
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience working with accounting or ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills when collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal teams
Preferred Experience
Full-cycle accounts payable or accounts receivable experience
Experience supporting month-end close processes
Background in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, or distribution
