We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting professional to provide support in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and providing excellent customer service to vendors and clients. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal and communication skills, a solid understanding of accounting software, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable: Enter and update vendor invoices in Sage 50 within required timelines; prepare payment checks and reports; respond to vendor inquiries promptly.

Accounts Receivable: Enter sales invoices in Sage 50, send invoices to customers, and process daily cash receipts (check, wire transfer, cash, or miscellaneous payments).

Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate reporting.

Collections: Send statements to customers and communicate via phone and email to collect payments for overdue invoices.

Payroll Support: Assist the Accounting Manager with payroll processing, including verification of overtime and PTO.

Filing & Office Support: Organize and maintain vendor files and invoices; assist with seminars, special events, or other departmental tasks as needed. (Ability to carry boxes up to 10 lbs.)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

3–5 years of accounting experience preferred

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Knowledge of Sage 50 preferred but not required

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
