Accounts Payable Clerk
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing high volumes of invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining organized financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Process 350–400 invoices per week, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips; identify and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain vendor records, including updates and follow-up on outstanding issues within required timeframes.

Research missing documentation or approvals and communicate with internal departments to resolve vendor issues.

Meet deadlines for invoice entry, accounts payable accruals, and monthly close tasks.

Perform mathematical calculations and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

Maintain organized filing systems and support general accounting functions as needed.

Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff to resolve questions or issues.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support department workflow.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of accounts payable or general accounting experience.

Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and standard office equipment.

Strong keyboarding and computer navigation skills.

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage frequent interruptions and multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
2–3 years of accounts payable experience.

Business-related education or coursework.

Experience processing high invoice volumes in a structured environment.

Skills & Competencies

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent reasoning and analytical skills.
