Job Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, CA on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and experienced in full-cycle accounts payable. Key Responsibilities:
Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire transfers
Maintain and organize AP records and files
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
Assist with month-end closing and audits as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus
