Company is a leading self-perform solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We specialize in utility-scale solar projects and have built long-standing partnerships with major utilities and Independent Power Producers across the U.S. 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role requiring strong organizational skills and hands-on experience with accounts payable—especially credit card processing and construction accounting.
Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and enter invoices using HH2 (automated billing system)
Accurately input vendor details, invoice data, coding, and payment information
Assist with weekly AP processing using Sage 300
Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Match invoices with waivers and lien releases as part of the payment process
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationship
Scan and file payment remittances
Review and code high-volume AMEX and Comdata credit card transactions
Reconcile credit card activity monthly and ensure accurate system import
Support additional AP and accounting functions as needed

What You Bring

Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, including Accounts Payable
Experience handling high-volume transactions (approx. 120 invoices/day & 90+ credit card transactions/day)
Strong background in credit card reconciliation (AMEX/Comdata preferred)
Construction accounting experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
Experience with Sage 300 and HH2 is a plus
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
