Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a major automotive dealership in Arecibo, PR. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, improving financial processes, and supporting management with accurate, timely financial information.

The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements, and help drive strong financial controls across the business. 

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow activity.
- Lead monthly and annual closing processes, including review and analysis of financial statements.
- Oversee inventory accounting and floor plan-related transactions within the dealership environment.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and internal or external audit requirements.
- Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, identify improvement opportunities, and present findings to management.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $40,000 per year.
- Benefits provided.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Arecibo, PR.
