Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
Remote (Bay Area preferred – occasional onsite)
$75,000–$105,000 annually
We are hiring a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager (level based on experience) to support and lead nonprofit accounting operations with a strong focus on grants and fund accounting.

What You’ll Do
Lead monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries
Manage nonprofit fund accounting and grant reporting
Support or lead audits and federal contract reporting
Prepare and review financial statements
Improve accounting processes and controls
For Manager level: supervise and mentor accounting staff
Must Have Experience
Nonprofit accounting (not small or low-volume nonprofits)
Grants and federal contract accounting
Fund accounting
Month-end close ownership
Strong Excel skills
Nice to Have
CPA or certification
Abila/MIP experience
VA or government-funded programs
Prior team leadership (for Manager level)
