Summary:
The Accounting Specialist – Reconciliations is responsible for performing daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial records. This role focuses on cash and bank reconciliations, account analysis, adjustments, and audit support, contributing to the integrity and efficiency of the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Verify and reconcile daily deposits from different departments, comparing amounts deposited versus system postings.
• Investigate discrepancies and follow up with responsible staff.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all cash accounts with financial institutions.
• Analyze accounts receivable and prepare necessary adjustments.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and collections when required.
• Review and reconcile sales postings and ensure proper recording.
• Analyze and reconcile subsidiary accounts, including inventory adjustments.
• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
• Prepare accounting entries and reconciliations for affiliated companies.
• Assist in audit account analysis and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, with strong background in reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (IF/SUM and Tables)
• Strong account analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
