A growing manufacturing organization in Anaheim, CA is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Key Responsibilities

- Process accounts payable invoices, verify approvals, match documentation, and support timely vendor payments.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, payment posting, and account follow-up.
- Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, general ledger activity, and other accounting records as needed.
- Maintain accurate accounting files, documentation, and transaction records in accordance with internal procedures.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
- Support month-end close activities, reporting, and other accounting projects as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $47,840 to $56,160 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile accounts, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end close activities and routine accounting reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support smooth accounting operations.

- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment posting, reconciliations, and accounting documentation.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills for working with vendors, customers, and internal team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing accounting software.
- Experience supporting month-end close, account analysis, or inventory-related accounting.
- Associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field.
