As the Accounting Specialist you will be responsible for a variety of duties to include: general support for the accounting team, processing of high-volume vendor invoices, updating and maintaining accuracy for client records. This role is detailed in the sense that there is matching of all transactions, coordinating with internal staff and vendors to resolve discrepancies or inquiries. Key to success is: great attention to detail, sense of urgency yet accuracy, extremely detailed and organized.

Will also support the month-end close processes with providing relevant documentation and reconciling AP-related accounts.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounts payable or general accounting experience. Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing-related AP processes
