We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-driven Accounting Specialist to join our clients in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and experience with day-to-day financial operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
-Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
-Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
-Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and journal entries
-Support payroll processing and expense reporting
-Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
-Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
-Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
Qualifications:
-2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
-Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
-Strong analytical and organizational skills
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
-Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
