We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports in accordance with GAAP
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and supporting documentation
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulations
Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial reviews
Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting or finance experience (more for senior roles)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
CPA certification is a plus, but not required
Working Conditions:
Office environment with standard business hours
May require occasional overtime during reporting periods or audits
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
