Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial and banking accounts to support accurate accounting records.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Support reporting, vendor communication, discrepancy research, and issue resolution.
- Develop, update, and standardize SOPs, training guides, manuals, and process documentation.
- Assist with onboarding and refresher training for accounting team members.
- Cross-train across accounting, banking, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting to provide departmental coverage as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Location: Temecula, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Maintain reconciliations, journal entries, and accurate accounting records.
- Support month-end close, year-end close, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Create and maintain SOPs, training guides, and process documentation.
- Cross-train across accounting operations, banking, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll, or accounting operations experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, journal entries, and internal controls.
- Ability to work accurately in a high-volume, deadline-driven accounting environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfortable documenting processes, improving workflows, and supporting training efforts.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work with vendors, team members, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and accounting procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Exposure to multiple accounting functions such as banking, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Experience creating SOPs, training materials, or process documentation.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
