As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee key accounting functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. Responsibilities include managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger activities, month-end and year-end close processes, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, tax reporting, and ERP system administration.
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting
- Month-end and year-end close activities
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Sales tax, use tax, payroll tax, and property tax compliance
- Audit preparation and support
ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Leading, mentoring, and developing accounting staff
- Working in both Japanese and English business environments
- Nice-to-have qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA certification, and experience supporting inventory or manufacturing-related accounting functions.
