Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Controller for a direct hire opportunity in Irvine, CA. This full-time onsite role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys overseeing core accounting operations, strengthening financial controls, and partnering with executive leadership to support sound business decisions.

The Accounting Manager / Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer and play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, budgeting support, audit coordination, and accounting team leadership. Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, cash flow reporting, and supporting schedules for leadership review.
- Coordinate annual audits, tax preparation support, internal controls, and accounting policy compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, process improvements, and special projects.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
