About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager from the construction or solar industry to oversee core accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role supports a fast-growing organization projected to reach $1B in annual revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily accounting operations (GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, bank recs).
Manage month-end and year-end close.
Prepare/analyze WIP reports and job costing.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements.
Oversee cash flow, cash forecasting, and debt management.
Manage multi-state sales/use tax compliance.
Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
Supervise and develop accounting staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
5–7+ years of accounting experience in construction.
Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, AIA billing, lien waivers.
Experience with Sage 300, Procore, or similar systems.
Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
Experience leading accounting teams.
Required: Experience working in companies with $500M+ revenue (minimum $350M+).
