We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing organization in Riverside, CA. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in supporting accurate financial results, strengthening accounting procedures, and partnering with leadership on operational and financial insights. Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full cycle month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment, including inventory, product costing, and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and reporting deadlines.
- Leverage NetSuite and advanced Excel to analyze financial data, improve reporting, and support operational decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to review costs, identify trends, and provide meaningful financial insights.
- Support process improvements, accounting controls, and documentation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage full cycle month-end close activities for corporate accounting.
- Lead cost accounting functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
- Use NetSuite and advanced Excel to support accounting operations and reporting.

- 6 to 10 years of accounting experience.
- Strong cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- NetSuite experience is required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including strong spreadsheet analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close procedures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and timely reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior Accounting Manager experience in a corporate accounting or manufacturing setting.
- Experience improving close processes, reporting workflows, or accounting procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-accounting partners.
