Accounting Manager

Essential Functions
• Support the North America Controller in overseeing all accounting and finance activities across regional entities.
• Assist with month-end close, including general ledger accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and journal entry review to ensure data accuracy prior to Controller submission.
• Prepare and upload financial data into the OneStream consolidation system.
• Maintain fixed asset registers across service centers in compliance with corporate finance policies.
• Partner with the Controller to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, collaborating with department, product, and sales leaders on data gathering and analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Oversee accounts payable and develop cash disbursement forecasts.
• Manage and monitor sales and property tax compliance across service centers, including required state and local filings.
• Support inventory accounting and cost analysis, including standard cost updates in MAS 500 and reasonableness of cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Assist in monitoring COGS variances to ensure they remain within acceptable thresholds.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and JSOX internal control requirements.
• Support preparation of monthly financial reports and ad hoc analysis.
• Contribute to Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller or management team.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience using ERP systems such as MAS 500 for analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel skills; PowerPoint knowledge preferred.
• Ability to perform accurate and timely calculations, analyze data, and prepare reports.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels globally.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in cost accounting and financial planning & analysis.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting processes required.
• Exposure to international accounting practices preferred.
• Experience in clean energy or aftermarket services (spares, repairs, field service) is a plus.

An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills and competencies may be considered.
