Job Title:** Accounting Manager – Construction/Solar
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Onsite)
About the Role:
Join a growing construction/solar company as an Accounting Manager*overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and job costing. Lead a small team (3–4) and help drive accurate reporting and process improvements. Candidates must come from companies with $500M+ in annual revenue** (experience at $1B+ preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare WIP reports, job cost analysis, financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Oversee cash flow, multi-state tax compliance, and fixed assets
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)
5–7+ years accounting experience in **construction or solar
Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and AIA construction billing
Experience with Sage 300, Procore, or similar
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in companies with $500M+ annual revenue
