Accounting Manager

Oversees all accounting operations including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Directly supervises two accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Process weekly payroll, including tax payments and quarterly 941 filings.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.

· Record journal vouchers in the general ledger.

· Prepare accurate monthly financial statements.

· Maintain and update fixed asset depreciation and prepaid account spreadsheets.

· Coordinate physical inventory counts at mid-year and year-end.

· Collaborate with auditors for quarterly and annual audits.

· Compile and submit financial reports to Japan.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience demonstrating proficiency in accounting functions will be considered.

Required Skills

Proficiency in accounting software, particularly SAGE 100 and Microsoft Excel, is required. Strong computer literacy and familiarity with financial systems are essential.
