Are you a hands-on accounting leader ready to take ownership of financial operations and guide a talented team? We’re looking for a proactive Accounting Manager who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.
What You’ll Do
As our Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving financial excellence by:
Overseeing all accounting and financial operations for the office
Leading, mentoring, and developing an accounting team (hiring, training, evaluations, and workflow management)
Enforcing accounting policies and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company standards
Preparing and reviewing internal and external financial statements, month-end, and year-end reports
Managing inventory analysis in collaboration with the warehouse team to ensure accurate valuations
Auditing payroll processes for compliance with corporate guidelines and federal laws
Supporting billing, credit, and collections processes
Reviewing and reconciling journal entries, accruals, and general ledger activity
Analyzing profit and loss reports, job costing, and labor productivity to support leadership decisions
Communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) with 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Leadership: Prior experience managing an accounting team of at least 3 individuals
Technical Skills: Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Hands-On Expertise: Skilled in journal entries, month-end close, financial analysis, budgeting, and audits
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
Other: Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
