In this role, you’ll not only manage and mentor internal and client-side accounting teams, but also deliver strategic financial insights that drive growth and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and train internal staff and client accounting personnel
Review GAAP financial statements and supporting reconciliations (bank accounts, AR, AP, prepaid expenses, inventory, debt, and more)
Provide financial statement analysis, management reports, and KPIs
Conduct profit & loss and balance sheet reviews, ensuring compliance with revenue and expense recognition principles
Evaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements
Review financial forecasts, projections, and budgets
Assist with debt financing evaluations and buy/sell-side diligence
Qualifications:
Active CPA required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online (experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Netsuite, Sage Intacct a plus)
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel to client sites (occasional overnight stays) and work overtime as needed
