Job Summary:
As our Accounting Manager, you’ll lead financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with company goals. Based in Brunswick, GA, this role will oversee accounting processes, manage budgets, and collaborate with leadership to drive financial performance in a high-volume logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and inventory tracking

Oversee full-cycle month-end procedures and ensure compliance with GAAP

Develop and monitor budgets, offering insights to support strategic decisions

Supervise invoicing and payment processes related to vehicle transport services

Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations

Partner with operations leadership to track job costing and route profitability

Analyze financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities

Lead and develop the office accounting staff to maintain high performance

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role

Experience in logistics, transportation, or related industries is a plus

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel

CPA or CMA certification is a plus

Occasional travel (5–10%)
