We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead and oversee daily operations at our established CPA firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of tax professionals, ensuring accurate and timely tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, and maintaining high standards of client service. As the office lead, you will also handle staff scheduling, work flow management, client communications, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical tax knowledge, and the ability to build trusted client relationships. This is a full-time, on-site role offering the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing practice.

Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise tax preparation, planning, and review processes
Oversee and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance
Maintain and grow client relationships through proactive communication and service
Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
Manage office work flow and staff scheduling for efficient operations
Participate in strategic planning and process improvements for the office
Assist with hiring and training of new team members
Serve as the primary point of contact for complex tax issues and client escalations

Qualifications:
5+ years of public accounting experience, including supervisory roles
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in tax software and general accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Lacerte, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
