Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, or compensation analysis
Strong understanding of general ledger processes, reconciliations, and multi-entity environments
Experience processing payroll and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Knowledge of compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and HR data insights
Proficiency in QuickBooks (required), Excel, and HRIS platforms
Familiarity with tax reporting, including W-2s, 1099s, and withholding requirements
Experience with job evaluation frameworks and salary structure design
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred
Certifications such as CPA, CCP, or similar are a plus

Accounting & Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities
Handle intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support month-end close activities
Identify and resolve discrepancies within financial data
Payroll & Compliance
Process payroll with accuracy and timeliness across entities
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and tax regulations
Maintain payroll documentation and support year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s, audits)
Accounts Receivable & Payable
Oversee invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
Monitor outstanding balances and ensure accurate posting
Compensation & HR Analytics
Evaluate compensation data to support competitive salary structures
Conduct market benchmarking using salary surveys and external data
Partner with leadership on compensation recommendations for hiring and internal changes
Maintain job descriptions and classification frameworks
Tax & Regulatory Requirements
Support accurate preparation of 1099s, withholding, and related filings
Maintain compliance documentation (W-9, W-8 forms, etc.)
Assist with audit readiness and external reporting needs
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and compensation workflows
Implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Collaborate with external accountants, HR leaders, and key stakeholders
