We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to provide accounting support during a leave of absence. This position is expected to last 3–6 months, with the potential to extend for the right candidate. Healthcare industry experience is required.
⚠️ Please note: This is NOT a medical billing position. The primary focus is on accounting, vendor payments, general accounting, and financial recordkeeping.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least 2 years of accounting clerk experience
Must have healthcare industry experience
Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Strong communication and follow-through
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and process vendor invoices
Provide Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) support
Prepare and record journal entries
Perform account reconciliations
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
Maintain accurate accounting and financial records
Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed
Ensure accounting records are accurate, organized, and up to date
