Job Summary

A growing litigation law firm in Glendora is seeking an Accounting Clerk with legal industry accounting or billing experience for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with accounts payable, vendor invoices, billing records, and legal support teams.

The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Lead Accounting Clerk and Paralegal team to ensure invoices are processed accurately, billing documentation is well organized, and accounting records are maintained with precision. Key Responsibilities

- Process accounts payable, including in-house expenses, vendor payments, and invoice documentation.
- Handle expert witness invoice processing through online billing platforms.
- Review, organize, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining billing records, past bills, invoices, and statements.
- Enter time sheet data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with the Paralegal team to confirm invoice accuracy and support timely processing.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Work location: Onsite in Glendora, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process accounts payable and vendor payments in a legal services environment.
- Manage expert witness invoice processing through online billing platforms.
- Maintain accurate billing records, invoice files, and accounting documentation.
- Coordinate with legal support teams to support timely and accurate billing workflows.

- Law firm accounting or billing experience is required.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of Time Slips, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Strong data entry accuracy and ability to type at least 65 WPM.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Team-oriented professional with strong follow-through and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting a litigation law firm or legal services accounting department.
- Experience processing expert witness invoices and working with online legal billing platforms.
- Familiarity with coordinating accounting tasks alongside paralegals or legal support staff.
