We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the accounting team with financial recordkeeping, data entry, and reporting activities.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Enter and maintain accurate financial data and records
Reconcile invoices, statements, and account discrepancies
Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and filing systems
Verify and process purchase orders, invoices, and payments
Assist with month-end closing activities and audits
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries professionally and promptly
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information
Support additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical experience preferred
Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with accounting software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework is a plus
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems
Strong data entry and problem-solving skills
Bilingual skills are a plus
