Full Time Accounting Clerk (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable) needed in Escondido, onsite M-F. Pay is $24-$32/hr DOE.

Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely, matching purchase orders, verifying approvals, and coding expenses. - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Prepare and process payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms. - Assist in the maintenance of vendor records and communication regarding payment inquiries or issues. - Generate and send customer invoices accurately and promptly. - Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payment. - Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and apply payments accurately. - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation. - Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing or payment-related inquiries.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles preferred. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, SAGE) and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. - Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices. - Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and procedures. - Prior experience with financial reporting and analysis is a plus.
