Temporary Accounting Clerk (6-Month Assignment)
Location: San Rafael, CA (3 days remote, 2 days in office)
Schedule: Partially remote (hybrid)

We’re looking for a Temporary Accounting Clerk to support our client's accounting team for approximately 6 months. This position is based in San Rafael, just across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. The role offers a hybrid schedule—3 days remote, 2 days in office.
Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of invoices for payment
Print and mail accounts payable checks
Maintain accounts payable files and records
Respond to inquiries from vendors, auditors, and employees
Generate monthly reports and assist with month-end closing
Track replacement reserve expenses
Monitor and update daily cash balances
Assist with preparing and mailing year-end 1099s
Support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of accounting experience
Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Office
Yardi and property management experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume tasks
