Seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of accounting functions, including processing transactions, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close.
Responsibilities:
• Initiate wires, transfers, and ACH transactions
• Review daily remote deposits and transactions in Mortgage software
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with bank reconciliations, credit card allocation, and reconciliation
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with loan servicing and other accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of mortgage software preferred (or ability to learn new technology quickly)
