About the Role
A leading wholesale distribution company in Ontario is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their team. This position plays a key role in managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll, while supporting the overall accuracy and efficiency of the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions
Manage and process payroll accurately and on time
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Prepare reports and provide administrative support to the accounting team
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in AR, AP, and payroll
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
