This Accounting Clerk Position Features:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Accounting Clerk to support our finance team. This role is essential in helping us maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure timely payments
Enter and reconcile daily financial transactions in accounting software
Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing tasks
Prepare and distribute financial reports as needed
Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding billing issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in accounting or finance preferred
1–2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role (or strong internship experience)
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Strong Excel and data entry skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
