Key Responsibilities

- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable support.
- Prepare, review, enter, and maintain accurate financial records and accounting data.
- Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies to support accurate reporting.
- Assist with financial reports, documentation, and accounting-related projects.
- Collaborate with internal team members to support accounting processes and deadlines.
- Learn company-specific systems, workflows, and procedures while taking on additional responsibilities as skills develop.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
- Assist with accounting reports, data entry, discrepancy research, and documentation.
- Work closely with accounting and internal business teams to complete daily accounting tasks.
- Learn internal systems and processes while contributing to ongoing accounting operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to review financial information, identify discrepancies, and maintain accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a professional work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting accounts payable or accounts receivable functions.
- Experience performing account reconciliations or researching financial discrepancies.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Interest in long-term career growth within accounting or finance.
