Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our accounting team. This role will begin with core AP responsibilities such as coding invoices, account entry, filing, and research. As you gain familiarity with our processes, you will have the opportunity to grow into more full-cycle accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform invoice coding and data entry for accounts payable
Assist with AP filing and documentation management
Conduct research and resolve discrepancies related to AP transactions
Support accounts receivable (AR) functions as needed
Enter and manage data in Excel spreadsheets, including reporting tasks
Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger (G/L) entries
Contribute to asset schedules and asset data input
Help manage DMV-related requirements and insurance certificates (training provided)

Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of debits and credits
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with bank reconciliations
Basic knowledge of general ledger (G/L) and journal entries (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
