We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant HYBRID to support a growing accounting team. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and general ledger support experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate, organized financial documentation.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoice processing by verifying invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with vendor records.
- Perform data entry, journal postings, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger updates under supervision.
- Prepare Excel reports, reconciliations, and financial records for management review.
- Assist with month-end close support, variance tracking, and file preparation for internal reviews.
- Help improve internal accounting procedures, maintain confidentiality, and support compliance with company accounting policies.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP, reconciliations, GL support).
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains highly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: $25 to $31 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid Schedule
- Location: Carlsbad, CA.
