AppleOne Employment is hiring for a Temporary Part-Time Accounting Assistant. Join a dynamic team and provide accounting and administrative support in a professional office environment. This role is part-time, Tuesday–Thursday, $22-25/hr DOE, Temporary (runs through 11/6/25). Located in Escondido, CA.
Responsibilities:
-Answer phones, greet clients/vendors, handle mail & shipping
-Data entry in Sage accounting system
-Support AP with invoices, POs, vendor info & credit applications
-Assist with payroll, compliance, and business license documentation
-Order/distribute office supplies & provide admin support to departments
-Maintain confidentiality and provide backup coverage as needed
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED (required); some college in Accounting/Business preferred
-Previous admin/accounting support experience (Accounting, Construction, Payroll, or related)
-Strong attention to detail, organizational skills & customer service
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Proficient with Sage, Salesforce, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
-Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license
