A growing organization is seeking a detail-driven, reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support essential financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage Washington State payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Maintain financial records, including AP/AR
Compile, organize, and reconcile financial data
Prepare and submit WA payroll tax filings and reports
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Maintain general ledger and journal entries
Generate basic financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, etc.)
Support month-end and year-end close
Collaborate with internal teams and external accounting partners
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Knowledge of Washington State payroll and related reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to compile and analyze financial data accurately
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance
Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses
Familiarity with WA labor and payroll compliance
