Accounting Assistant | 100% On-Site Irvine, CA
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related functions within a professional manufacturing environment.

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records by updating sub-ledgers, processing vendor and customer transactions, and supporting payroll verification. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a structured office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and enter vendor invoices into accounting software (Sage 50 preferred)
Prepare and issue vendor payment checks and reports in a timely manner
Respond professionally to vendor and customer inquiries
Enter customer sales invoices and distribute billing statements
Process daily cash receipts, wire transfers, and miscellaneous payments
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Support collection efforts for aged receivables through phone and email communication
Assist with payroll verification including overtime and PTO review
Maintain physical and electronic filing systems (may require lifting boxes up to 10 lbs)
Provide general office and seminar/event support as needed
Required Qualifications (Must Be Met):
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes
Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software is preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills
Ability to work 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (no remote or hybrid work)
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 annually, plus potential bonus and mileage reimbursement
