We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our client’s team in Hazlet, NJ. This role is full-time, onsite, and has an immediate start.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Through 12/31/2026
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $26.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls using ADP Workforce Now
Maintain and process time and attendance records
Handle payroll deductions, compensation changes, overtime, and adjustments
Perform payroll reconciliations (pre- and post-processing)
Prepare payroll and month-end reports
Respond to employee payroll inquiries via ticketing system
Support periodic and year-end payroll reporting
Assist with additional payroll-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now
Strong understanding of payroll processing principles
Experience with E-Time is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
