Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and account balances.

Maintain and update financial records with accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Support the accounting team with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding billing issues or payment status.

Organize and maintain digital and physical financial files.

Support audits by preparing documentation as needed.

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related administrative role preferred.

Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, general ledger).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is a plus.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
