Client located in Downtown Orlando is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our Business Office team in a hybrid, full-time role. This temp-to-hire opportunity is intended to transition into a permanent position upon successful completion of 520 hours. The ideal candidate will support our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and contribute to the smooth and timely execution of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions under general supervision
Manage activities related to Accounts Payable and Receivable
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and expense reports
Maintain financial records and generate control reports
Participate in the development and refinement of internal accounting processes
Support audits and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business required
1–2 years of general accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
Willingness to learn nonprofit fund accounting systems
Professional communication and collaboration skills
Work Schedule & Location:
Monday through Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hybrid work environment with required in-person days based on department needs
Must be able to commute to our downtown Orlando office
