Position Overview:
The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in our daily accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting within a dynamic and growing industry. You’ll work closely with our accounting and finance team, helping to maintain accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payments
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and files
Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Assist in preparing financial reports and audits
Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments as needed
Qualifications:
1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
