**Accounting Administrative Assistant**
**Job Summary:**
A leading financial organization is seeking a highly organized and proactive Accounting Administrative Assistant to support two to three financial accounting teams. This role ensures the timely flow and accurate distribution of both physical and electronic documents while providing general administrative support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Open, review, scan, and electronically distribute incoming mail and documents
* Assess incoming items to determine urgency and proper routing
* Perform general administrative duties and ad hoc tasks as needed
* Collaborate with multiple accounting teams to support daily operations
* Maintain organization and accuracy within a high-volume workload
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative role
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SAP, and Concur
* Proven ability to partner and communicate effectively with employees at all levels, including executive leadership
* Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills
* Highly proactive, resourceful, flexible, and dependable
* Strong initiative and ability to anticipate needs
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
* Team-oriented approach with strong relationship-building skills
* Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities
