Our client is seeking a Real Estate Accounting Manager to join their team. This role reports directly to the principal and collaborates closely with accounting and property management staff, overseeing monthly financial reporting and ensuring accuracy in statements provided to brokers, investors, and lenders. The Accounting Manager will take an active role in budgeting, forecasting, audits, and compliance, while also reviewing legal documents, operating agreements, loans, and settlement statements. Responsibilities include managing general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable for select properties, CAM reconciliations, and supporting debt refinancing, acquisitions, and exchanges.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Accounting (CPA preferred), 5+ years of experience in COMMERCIAL accounting, and a strong interest in the commercial real estate industry, along with proven supervisory skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.
