AppleOne has partnered with a company in Irvine needing an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online, and the ability to manage a variety of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate flow of financial information.
Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Maintain organized records and ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a generalist or full-cycle role.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and a high level of accountability.
