Accounting Supervisor
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and expert review of financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of financial statements, demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, and bring a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and professional excellence. This role requires a leader who can effectively mentor accounting staff while maintaining high standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and production of accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
Supervise, train, and support the accounting team to ensure adherence to best practices and departmental standards.
Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and maintain strong, professional communication with clients regarding financial results.
Ensure the timely and compliant filing of all required government reports and documentation.
Review and approve year-end financial statements prior to submission to the Tax Department.
Apply strong knowledge of depreciation rules and related accounting standards.
Evaluate financial trends and identify areas requiring attention or corrective action.
Serve as a leader and mentor, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the accounting team.
Promptly communicate any identified discrepancies, irregularities, or potential theft in client accounts.


Qualifications

Extensive experience in the review and analysis of financial statements.
Strong command of the General Ledger, Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and final reporting processes.
Demonstrated ability to recognize financial trends and provide actionable insights.
Advanced understanding of financial reporting principles (CPA not required, but high-level financial statement expertise is essential).
Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and professionally to internal staff and external clients.
Leadership experience with a focus on staff development, coaching, and team performance.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
