We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to join our team. This contractor role will focus on supporting business financial rhythms, managing month-end close processes, forecasting, actuals reporting, and budget management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial analysis and project management and will be comfortable supporting both program management and budget coordination tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Month-End Close Process: Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Forecasting & Reporting: Develop and maintain forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions. Oversee actuals reporting to ensure alignment with budgets and identify variances. • Budget Collaboration: Work closely with budget owners to ensure that spending aligns with the approved budget, providing regular updates and support. • Accruals & Cross-Charges: Support monthly accruals and cross-charges journal entry (JE) requests, ensuring compliance with accounting policies. • Variance Communication: Proactively communicate any budget variances to budget owners and provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions. • Financial Reviews: Assist in preparing monthly financial reviews and presentations for senior management. • Annual Budgeting: Contribute to the preparation of the annual budgeting process, helping develop budget templates and guidelines. • Financial Monitoring: Monitor financial performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement. • Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures and assist with internal and external audits as needed. Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, budget management Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields. ( Advanced degrees preferred) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies Knowledge of project management principles and practices
