A growing organization in the residential and commercial construction space is seeking an Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in El Monte, CA. The Accountant will play an important role in maintaining reliable financial records, preparing reports, supporting tax and compliance requirements, and helping ensure accounting processes are accurate and well organized. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
- Report financial information to management and support decision-making through accurate data and analysis.
- Establish and maintain tables of accounts, assign entries to proper accounts, and support organized recordkeeping.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, including periodic reporting on budgeted costs compared to actual costs.
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax-related documentation, and help ensure compliance with reporting and payment requirements.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations to support forecasting and financial planning.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $74,000 to $78,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: El Monte, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and assign transactions to appropriate accounts.
- Assist with tax preparation, compliance reporting, and internal financial controls.

- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience required.
- Degree in accounting or a related field required.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin a plus
- Experience with accounting systems, recordkeeping processes, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to management and internal stakeholders.
- Professional judgment, confidentiality, and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in property management is preferred.
- Accounting experience within construction, real estate, or a related industry is a plus.
