Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Alhambra, CA with a manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, compliance, and accounting team support.
The Senior Accountant will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely reporting packages, supporting GAAP-compliant accounting practices, and supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue timely financial statements, management cost reports, and periodic financial reporting packages.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, documented policies, procedures, transaction controls, and internal financial reporting standards.
- Coordinate preparation of the corporate annual financial report and serve as a primary contact for external auditors and the corporate accounting firm.
- Perform financial analysis to support pricing decisions, operational benchmarks, reconciliations, debt payments, and covenant compliance.
- Oversee local, state, and federal reporting and tax filing requirements.
- Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel, including training, work assignments, performance feedback, and issue resolution.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: 4 x 10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with Fridays off.
- Location: Alhambra, CA.
